Dune Unveils Platform for Simplifying Blockchain Data Integration

Web3 data analytics platform Dune has launched Dune Catalyst, an enterprise-grade service designed to streamline blockchain data integrations and make data readily available to the crypto community.

The emergence of layer-2 and layer-3 networks has introduced numerous new blockchains, creating challenges in analyzing this new information flow. Dune Catalyst addresses this issue by facilitating easier integration with Dune’s platform.

“The future is unquestionably multichain,” said Fredrik Haga, CEO and co-founder of Dune. “By providing a new data structure standard, Dune Catalyst helps burgeoning blockchains make their data publicly accessible faster without data indexers’ backlogs, which in turn helps communities grow and support the launch of new applications.”

Dune Catalyst is offered in two configurations: a fully managed integration service and a self-serve hosted solution. The managed service provides comprehensive data setup and ongoing management, while the hosted solution allows Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible blockchains to connect their data with Dune through standardized APIs.

Early adopters of Catalyst’s APIs include Degen, a layer-3 on Farcaster, and Mode Network, an Ethereum layer-2. With Degen’s recent launch on Arbitrum Orbit and Mode Network’s MODE token release, users now have access to detailed data insights on Dune’s platform, enhancing visibility into network activities.

“With the recent launch of the Degen L3, a vibrant ecosystem of builders and users has emerged, driving record-breaking transaction volumes,” stated Jacek Trocinski, Founder of Degen. “We’re excited to partner with Dune to unlock data analytics for our community. This will allow us to easily access the latest trends and insights on the Degen chain, from dApps and tokens to native NFTs, supporting the growth of our ecosystem.”

Dune is a platform where users can create different dashboards to track data feeds, commonly used by research analysts to gather and share information about different blockchain ecosystems.

“Mode’s integration with Dune Catalyst gives our community immediate, in-depth visibility into token and network performance, empowering them to capitalize on DeFi opportunities,” concluded James Ross, Core Contributor of Mode.
